How to get there
Arriving by Car - Approximately 5 hrs from Colombo. A taxi from the airport will cost around GBP 75
Arriving by Train - Take the daily 6 am Batticoloa Train from Colombo to Palugaswewa Station (6 hrs). We can pre arrange a transfer to the villa. A second class train ticket costs around GBP 1.50, and the transfer around GBP 7.50.

Getting around
Vehicles can be booked In advance for transfers or local excursions. Transfers can be arranged by tuk tuk or minivan - pricing can be provided on request. A tuk tuk ride to Habarana (9km) costs approximately US$ 5.00 each way, while for larger groups, a local jeep can be called up for US$ 12.00 approximately each way. As an alternative, my classic Land Rover Station Wagon is also available with a driver for short excursions, for a maximum of 6 persons. Please inquire for rates.
