How to get there
BY PLANE - We are 15 mins drive from Fiumicino "Leonardo da Vinci" Airport (FCO). Just take a taxi. Taxi fare is 25/30€.
We are 30 mins drive from Ciampino Airport (CIA), taxi fare is about €50/55.
We can arrange a taxi for you at no extra costs, just let us know.
There are NO direct bus services from these airports to Ostia Antica.
BY TRAIN: From Piramide station the Roma-Lido trains departs every 30 mins. From Termini station you can get the subway Metro B (blue line) and change at Piramide. Full ticket cost is only €1.50. From Ostia Antica railway station use the blue footbridge to cross the main road and walk to the village for about 1 Km. Or, you can take Bus number 011 with the same train ticket and get off at Via Torremuzza. From here we are about 100 metres.
BY CAR: From Rome GRA ring road, take exit 28 onto Via Del Mare, it's about 10 Km to Ostia Antica.
LIDO DI OSTIA AND BEACH: take Bus 04 from Ostia Antica main road for main shopping and town beach.
Take Roma-Lido train to Cristoforo Colombo for the larger beach resorts.
Journey time 15/20 mins.

Getting around
Location is ideal to combine Rome with Ostia's beach breaks, away from the bustling city. The strategic location allows visitors to easily reach the metro railway station (15 min. walk) and be in Rome City Centre in half an hour at a cost of €1.50 per person (one way). We are at about 10 mins walk to Ostia Antica's famous roman ruins. Fiumicino International Airport and Lido di Ostia beach seaside are only 4km away. The local railway station for Rome city centre is 15 mins walk near the ruins.
