How to get there
The closest airport is Perugia, 1 hour away and linked via low cost airlines to interesting airports in Europe.
Florence and Rome are the two large airports that are the only choice if traveling from farther away, both are approximately 1 hr 45 mins away. Rome has intercontinental flights, Florence cannot host large airplanes thus if traveling from other continents you still need to stopover somewhere in Europe to get onto a smaller flight to Florence. The added asset of Florence is that being a smaller airport, it's more manageable and traffic out of if less hectic.
Pisa is well connected to European cities, but at least 2 and half hours away
En route from Florence and Rome there are several options of stopping along the way for a meal or a quick visit.
Getting around
To really take advantage your trip, you will need a car because there is not public transportation between Camporsevoli and Chiusi-Chianciano Terme, which is the closest train station. We recommend that you rent a car upon arriving to Italy which allows you to soak in the Italian countryside as you drive to Camporsevoli. If, however, you prefer the train, you may take the train to Chiusi, 25 minutes from Camporsevoli, and rent a car directly from there. During your stay, you may like to travel via train to some of the larger cities such as Florence or Rome to avoid parking and traffic. You may leave your car at the station and pick it up directly upon your return without any hassle.
