How to get there
The journey from lisbon to the Monte Estoril stop by train,is absolutly worth it! The train leads all the time by the river and beaches. When arriving to the Monte Estoril Station, you will cross the railway and on the left side of the parking you will have 2 options: if your lagage isn't too havy, you can cross this tunnel and climb some stairs . They will leade you to a litlle street where you will continuing going up. At the end of it you get to a park with a taxi cab station right at your left. The taxi from there will be definatly cheeaper then taking it from the station. I imagen 3 euros.
Or, you can get the taxi from the satation witch will not be so much more then the 3 euros.

Getting around
You are beside Cascais witch is lovely, and also very close to Sintra , a charming historical villa that is definitely worth a visit! Do spend a day there! You can rent a car or go by taxi. Lisbon is 30 minutes by train and is also worth a visit at least 1 day. Belem is some stations before and is full of interestings and beautiful attractions, like: The Pastel de Belem original pastry, the fabulous Mosteiro dos Geronimos , the modern C C B museum of modern art, and all it's restaurants in front of a beautiful and huge garden. Estoril beach and Casino are one step of you and Monte Estoril neighborhood right under you to be explored!
