My manager is a driver, and the village drivers have a taxi stand at the bottom of the big steps that lead up to my path from the main road. It is very easy to get anywhere on the island.

From the main road, there are 85+ steps up the ridge to my pathway. I find them invigorating, but not everyone would feel that way. There is another path to the house that requires more walking time but has almost no stairs.
