The nearest airport is Pisa International Airport, around an hour and a quarter's drive from the house. In the Summer months there are flights by Easyjet, Ryanair, Jet 2 and BA into Pisa offering low cost fares. There are several car hire companies at the Airport or, alternatively, there is a train at the Airport which goes into Pisa Centrale where it is possible to take a direct train to Barga-Gallicano, our local train station. You can also get a train from Pisa Centrale to Lucca and change trains there to Barga-Gallicano. To arrive at the house from the local train station, we can arrange transport for you on request.
