How to get there

FROM THE NORTH: M6 Junction 40. Go west along the A66 and follow this to Keswick. Take the left turning signposted Keswick A591 and turn left at the T-junction at the end of the slip road. After less than a mile, turn right at the next T-junction, this takes you into the centre of Keswick, signposted Town Centre A5271. After ¾ mile is a crossroads immediately before a first set of traffic lights, turn left onto Station Street and immediately left onto Southey Street. Just past Southey Interiors and the Opticians is a right turning that takes you into the back of Station Street and which gives you access to your accommodation. Crandy Nook is at the far end on the right – you will see our Crandy Nook slate sign at the top of a green staircase.

FROM THE SOUTH: M6 Junction 36. Follow the A590 then onto the A591 (no need to turn off) to Windermere, Ambleside, Grasmere (by-pass the village), Thirlmere onto Keswick. The road eventually will drop down into the Town Centre. After ¾ mile is a crossroads immediately before a first set of traffic lights, turn left onto Station Street and immediately left onto Southey Street.
