How to get there
From San Jose, it is a four and half hour trip by road to Geckoes Lodge: It is a beautiful trip!
To get from San Jose to Geckoes Lodge there are the following options:
1. Car rental from San Jose: Reliable companies are: Alamo or National or Budget or Toyota.
2. Private transfer by car which costs approximately US$240: A good option if there are 4 of you travelling.
3. Interbus: A private mini bus service which will pick you up at your hotel in San Jose or at the airport and bring you to Geckoes Lodge.
