How to get there
Chania airport named 'Daskalogianis' is the closest and its approximately 39 km, 40 mins drive.
Souda port close to city of Chania (27 km away), connected to most main ports in Greece, and another port smaller in size is at Kissamos (18 km away) which connects to Peloponese.
Coming from Chania airport to Tavronitis, it is recommended that travelers take the route going towards Souda. Going through this path there are many signs indicating National Highway going west towards 'Kissamos'.
The highway exit to villa Olympia is 'Tavronitis/Paleochora'. After exiting just continue driving towards Tavronitis town.

Getting around
Olympia is located very close to national highway joining Chania and Kissamos as well as Paleochora to the south, and it is very convenient for anyone travelling with their own car or taking public transportation. There are several bus routes in the town going east/west and to the south of the island. Guests who wish to fully explore the local area and generally the western part of Crete, it is recommended to get a car rental or a taxi for their excursions.
