Due to the varied number of starting points, we have found it easiest to provide our guests with directions from the nearest largest city, which is Jaco Beach.

The quickest route from Juan Santamaria International Airport to Jaco Beach is usually via Highway 1, to US 27, and onto Route 34, which is also known as the "Costanera Sur", or the Pacific Coastal Highway (South).

Once you pass Jaco, you will continue heading South for an additional 5-8 minutes (Route 34).

5 - 8 minutes past Jaco, you will see a small 500 Meter town called Playa Hermosa. The last hotel in the Playa Hermosa strip (34) is "The Backyard Bar". Continue heading South on the Costanera Sur (34) for an additional 200 meters past the Backyard Bar.

200 meters past the Backyard Bar, on your left handside, you will see a bus stop that reads, OPERA SALVAJE / CALLE HERMOSA. Please take that left hand turn onto the unpaved road (CALLE HERMOSA). This is Calle Hermosa, continue on Calle Hermosa for 2.0 kilometers on the odometer, or until you see the Residencias "LOMAS DEL MAR" sign. Immediately passing the LOMA DEL MAR sign, you will see a dirt road on your left hand side. Passing the Lomas del Mar gate, please make an immediate left hand turn onto the unmarked dirt road.

Follow or continue the dirt road the dirt road for approximately 600 meters through the forest until you see a large white gate. Our home is the next one, so please continue past it until you pass the waterfall, and continue for an additional 100 meters onto the concrete driveway. You will see large concrete columns and a large black iron fence. Once you reach the black gate, you have arrived at the estate and will can park your vehicle on the red rock driveway. We will be present on the property to welcome you, to provide you with both a set of keys and a tour of the estate properties. We will perform a standard walkthrough of the Villa, provide you with basic instructions on how to make the most of your stay, and cover the rules which need to be observed in order to maintain safety of yourself as well as that of others.
