How to get there
The cheapest and quickest way is via the Dover-Calais Ferry: It is almost all motorway - just an easy 2½ hours drive after a 75-minute crossing.
The nearest port is via the Portsmouth-Le Havre or Caen Ferry: Just a 1 hour drive (but a longer, more expensive ferry crossing - between 5 and 7 hours - overnight crossing).
Or Newhaven-Dieppe: A 1½ hour drive after a 4h crossing.
