Horta Vermelha is located in the immediate outskirts of the town of Borba. Matriz is one of the two parishes (freguesia) of Borba.

On the roundabout on the north-eastern entrance of town (on the Spain side), turn towards the road along the supermarket. You are 800m from Horta Vermelha. You have the supermarket on your left, an old wall on your right (Quinta do General). Carry on along this country road, always straight ahead.

Borba is well served by frequent and comfortable intercity National Express Bus. The bus stop is around 1km from us. For journey planning and timetables we suggest Rede Expressos (also in English).
