The Neighbourhood

The Galata neighborhood of Istanbul's European Beyoğlu district is one of its most vibrant and culturally significant areas; neo-classical architecture and winding streets attract savvy Istanbulites who come here to shop, eat, party and drink. Flat is located at the heart of hippest quarter. 18th-century historical building which is 130years old near Galata Tower renovated in 2007 by a very well-known architect. The street is popular with Neo- classical buildings houses, cafes. The artistic area off the beaten tourist track. Both the building and the apartment itself are spectacular -- high ceilings, marble staircases, original hardwood floors. Originally worked on by Armenian stone masters.

Our apartments are uniquely situated amongst mosques, churches, synagogues, a mevlevi ‘whirling dervish’ hall and other sites of religious significance. We encourage guests to sense the history of religious tolerance and hopefully! to experience something of it themselves during their stay.
