How to get there


The numbers of destinations and airlines flying to Malta continues to increase in Europe and Worldwide. Malta Airlines, the countries national carrier and fly from many destinations, including the UK. Low cost airlines such as Ryan Air, Easy Jet, Aer Lingus, continue to increase destinations flying from UK and Europe to Malta. The European airlines flying to Malta include KLM, AirItalia, Lufthansa, Air France, Swiss Air and Austrian Airlines and many more. Worldwide operators such as Etihad connect with European networks.

There is no commercial airport on Gozo given its size. However, there are various options for transfer to Gozo. There is approximately a 45 minutes journey from Luga airport to Cirkewwa Ferry Terminal at the north of Malta. From here, a frequent ferry journey of approximately 20 minutes will transfer you to Gozo.


Let us collect you at the airport and transfer you on a seamless journey direct to your farmhouse door.

You will be driven by car to Cirkewwa Terminal, onto the next ferry and off the other side. There is a small charge for the ferry depending on size of party. From here be driven directly to the farmhouse where you will be greeted by Peter Pisani, our manager.

If hiring a car from us, this will be delivered to the house on your arrival.


There are a number of car hire comparison web sites which allow you to choose and pre book a car and collect it on arrival, often at competitive rates. We have an agreement with Economy Car Hire and you can access our rates at the foot of Peter's web site for a quote. This can be dropped at the house also.


There is taxi rank at the airport where you can pick up a taxi and transfer to Cirkewwa ferry terminal.


Arriva operate a frequent bus service – the X1 – from Luqa airport to Cirkewwa ferry terminal. The summer service first bus service starts at 05.15. The last bus is at 22.30. The journey takes 1 hour and 5 minutes. If you wish to make your own way to Gozo, you can walk on and off the ferry and either catch a bus to your village or we can arrange to collect you.

This option may require more effort. However, the key advantage is cost as the minimum 2 hour fare is €2.20 per person. More information and timetables can be found on
