We are about 45 minutes off the M5 at Bridgwater and about the same from the M5 at Taunton. If you head along the A39 towards Minehead, about 2 miles before Minehead you come to some traffic lights (a rare occurrence down here). The road is signposted the A396 to Tiverton. Here you turn left through Dunster and onto Timberscombe (about 2 miles). At Timberscombe turn left off the new bypass into the village, and you will see “The Lion” ahead of you, down the left side of the “The Lion” there is a small road, Great House street, and the “Great House” (TA24 7TQ if using a sat nav) is about 150 yards along on the left.

If you wish to travel by rail, the nearest main line station is Taunton (direct line from Paddington), where there is bus connection to Minehead, from where a taxi can be picked up from very close to the bus stop. Taxi from Taunton is about £45, taxi from Minehead about £12..
