Directions

When you arrive in Rye, follow signs to Town Centre - this will take you onto the small one-way system. Pass Jempsons supermarket on your right and the train station on your left. At the next T-junction, turn left and go straight across the next mini roundabout, turning right through the big stone arch (Landgate) at the top of the short hill. This brings you onto the High Street. Continue past all the High Street shops until the road narrows and you will pass The Standard Inn on your right – The Quarter House is a few doors beyond on the right. Pull up onto the pavement on the left just before the bollard to unload. The Quarter House door is the black door to the right of No. 44 - green stained glass. The best parking is the Market Carpark (TN31 7NA) - £2.50 for a 24-hour period, except Thursday which is Market Day, when you will need to park elsewhere (or go out for the day!)

Key Collection

Call the owner Sally the day before your arrival to arrange key collection. If unable to contact Sally, a key safe is located on the left of the door and the code is 1922. Arrival time is 3pm onwards, and departure time is no later than 10am. Please drop the keys back to Sally at no. 44 when you leave but if she is not in, just leave the keys in the key safe and scramble the code. Many thanks!

Additional Information

The flight of stairs leading the bedrooms, although short, is steep and narrow. The bannister/balustrade height is slightly less than 1m in places, and the gaps between the spindles maybe more than 10cm.

PETS: please bring all your own bedding etc. and please do not allow dogs on any beds or furniture. PLEASE NOTE: there is a £25 charge per pet payable upon arrival to cover deep cleaning (to alleviate potential allergies of future guests!) Thank you.
