How to get there
From Schiphol airport to Amsterdam Central Station:
It is from the airport 25 minutes by train to Amsterdam Central station and a ticket cost €4,- They drive every 20 minutes. The ticket you can buy in the main hall at the train help desk.
By public transport from Central Station it is 5 minutes:
Take tram 26, at the left side of CS. The tram ticket you can buy in the tram for €3,- Step out the 2nd stop called 'Kattenburg'. By stepping out walk to the left and take a right under the railway track and after it a right again and there you are on the Dijksgracht.

Within 2 minutes walking distance you find the tram, number 26 that takes you to the central station of Amsterdam. Very convienent. The ticket you buy in the tram. Also very close in short walking distance is Starbike rental. A very nice and local bike rental shop with good prices.
