Fly with Aurigny, the island's airline direct from southampton or via Guernsey from Manchester, Bristol, London Stansted and London Gatwick.
There are boats between Guernsey and Alderney in summer and a cargo boat can bring passengers from the UK, but most people fly as it is quick and more comfortable than a long boat ride. Flights are also less affected by bad weather.
