How to get there
We are located less than 10 minutes drive from Hastings, on the south east coast of England.
As the cottage is located in the countryside, a car is advisable. However we get a lot of guests who don't have one and they manage just fine. We have a car if you need a lift.
We provide an electric scooter and bike hire service.
Local bus's run into Hastings and the rail station every 15 minutes, or a taxi costs just £7.
Amazing walks around Hastings Country Park nature reserve are right on the doorstep. 15 minute walk to the beach at Covehurst Bay through a glen, waterfalls and wildlife.
It will take 45 minutes to walk from the cottage into Hastings via the nature reserve trails.

Getting around
A car is recommended as we are located in the countryside. However there are regular buses to all the local attractions and taxi's are plentiful. The 8 minute taxi ride from Hastings train station to us costs about £7. You can also walk into Hastings across the nature reserve. It takes about 50 minutes. If you're stuck we have a car and will gladly pick you up or drop you off locally. We provide an electric scooter and bike hire service.
