From Florence's Santa Maria Novella train station, a taxi to the apartment will cost around €12-€15. If you want to walk, it takes around 20 minutes. Bus D (once of the small electric buses) stops right outside the main station concourse and will drop you about 2 minutes from the apartment. If you are driving, you can pull up outside the apartment to unload luggage, but you will then have to park in one of the private parks close by (there is a good one just around the corner) or leave your car outside the city walls in a paid parking area. Street parking in the neighbourhood is for residents only.
