How to get there

By Road

Bathampton is easily accessible by road from anywhere in the UK via the Motorway network. Guests travelling from London or from the North or West of England will find it easiest to travel via the M4 Motorway to Junction 18 before travelling down the A46 into Bath. It is possible to approach Bathampton by crossing the River Avon via the toll bridge at Batheaston (£0.60) in order to avoid having to travel into the City at congested times.

By Air

Guests arriving via Bristol International Airport have the option of hiring a car, taking a taxi, or catching the coach to Bristol Temple Meads station and then a train to Bath in order to get to Bathampton.

Guests arriving at London Heathrow Airport can either travel into London on the Heathrow Express to Paddington Station before picking up a train to Bath Spa or they can travel by to Reading and pick up a train to Bath from there.

A direct train from Gatwick Airport to Reading is available which connects to services to Bath Spa.

Train connections via London are also available from London's Luton and Stanstead Airports.

By Train

Bath Spa station is on the famous 'Great Western Railway' and is served by regular trains from Paddington Station in London via Reading, Swindon, Chippenham to Bath Spa and on to Bristol Temple Meads.

By Coach

Local Transport

There are plenty of taxis and a good bus service available to travel between Bath Train and Coach stations and Bathampton.
