How to get there

Getting There by Road and Ferry:

From Galway to get to the port of Cleggan, located northwest of Clifden, you must drive across Connemara via Maam Cross.

From Clifden, the historic capital of Connemara, take the road for Cleggan (7 miles) and park near the pier.

There are two daily ferry services to Inishbofin all year round. There are three sailings a day to and from the island during the summer months and two sailings daily during the winter months.
