How to get there

Have a look at ferry prices outside the weekend - very often cheaper. Saint Malo is very near us but unfortunately it is one of the more expensive routes. Coming is OK because you can sleep through the 10hr+ journey but the return journey is during the day and very evry long! Sometimes it is good to do a mix of ports; arrive in one and leave from another. It doesn't necessarily make it more expensive.

Ryan air fly to Dinard, less then one hour for the trip and Dinan is only 30 minutes away. The flights run 6 days a week at the moment and are sometimes very cheap but not always! They fly from Stanstead, East Midland and Leeds&Bradford

FlyBe flies into Rennes from Southampton Newcastle, Manchester, Exeter, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dublin and Cork. Rennes is a 30 minute drive. You can either rent a car or be collected.
