There are many low cost airlines that fly into the local airport of Pescara which is about a 35 min drive away. If that doesn't service where you are from, try Rome. It's a beautiful hour and a half drive away through the stunning mountains. You'll experience lots of hilltop villages perched on the side of mountains and breathtaking views through the valleys. The service station food is also not to be missed with gorgeous fresh pasta.
