How to get there
Detailed directions are provided on the various ways to reach us be it by car or public transport. Although getting here by car is probably the most convenient way, once you are here you may find that you don't need it at all, with plenty of walks straight from the doorstep and a lively village with restaurants and bars aplenty. We are happy to help you work out the best way for you to get here be it by bus, train, taxi or hire car. Just ask us!

Getting around
If you want to use Alájar as a base to go further afield and visit the coast, Rio Tinto mines and even Portugal then we do recommend a car, however if you are coming enjoy the scenery there are plenty of walking routes from right outside our door. We do also encourage slowing down, taking in the village life and discovering what the Andalusian way of life is all about!
