How to get there

Train - London or Europe to Ashford International, then take Marshlink Line to Rye. Gatwick Airport to Brighton, then connect to hastings and onward to Rye. Taxis available from Rye, or hourly bus service Mondays to Saturdays during working day.

Car - M20 from Folkestone to Junction 10, then take A2070 and A259 towards Hastings. At Rye, turn right onto A268. After about one mile, turn right onto B2082 towards Tenterden.

From London area leave M25 at Junction 5 and follow A21 (Hastings)for about 25 miles to village of Flimwell, then turn left onto A268. After Sandhurst keep straight on, joining A28, and in Northiam turn left onto A268 for Rye. At junction with B2082 turn sharp left.

From Gatwick take M23 and leave at Junction 10. Follow A264 and A22 to East Grinstead, then A264 to Tunbridge Wells and onwards to A21. Follow signs for Hastings then as above.

In Iden village our house is on the left just before a road called Elmsmead. The ground floor is brick faced and the first floor is white weatherboard.
