The property is situated in an elevated position in 4.5 acres of land in the small hamlet of Lothmore on the north east coast of Scotland between Inverness and John O'Groats. The nearest larger villages with railway stations are at Brora and Helmsdale (both 5 miles away in opposite directions).
Lothmore lies on a B road not far from the main A9 trunk road which links Inverness with the rest of the Highlands. There are good road, rail and air links with Inverness from all over the UK and beyond.
