How to get there
When you arrive in Rio's International Airport, passing customs, you will see some stands selling taxi vouchers. They speak English and you may pay with credit card (approx. US$45). Walking further ahead you will find on your right cues for regular taxis. Most of them do not speak English and you need to pay in local currency Real (approx. US$35) with taximeter. Getting around
Transportation from the International Airport to the apartment is very easy. Leaving customs you will see in your right side some counters selling Taxi vouchers. They speak English and you may pay with credit card (approx. US$35). Regular taxi cue is a little ahead, but normally they speak a little or no English and you need to pay in local currency (aprox. US$30). Make sure that the driver turns on the taximeter. Depending on the traffic, it may take about one hour. For everyday use, Uber is the best solution. However I will be easly accessible for any information or hint that you may need.
