How to get there
Best is to fly through Nassau into Rock Sound Aurport (RSD) which is only six miles from the house. Governors Harbor is 40 miles, and N Eleuthera airport is 85. Taxis are expensive on Eleuthera! NEL airport is probably $150+ one way, for example. I can arrange a rental car for you. Culmer Cottage is located one block east of Queens Highway on the corner of Lord And Adelaide Streets. Tarpum Bay is so friendly, you can ask anyone where Miss Lynn lives and they will direct you. Turn left out of the airport road and travel north into Tarpum Bay. ALL DRIVING IS ON THE LEFT!!

Getting around
Unfortunately if you want to see all parts of the island a car is necessary. There are no bike rentals or public transportation. Cars are rented by individuals, Avis, Hertz, et. al. do not exist on Eleuthera. The roads to the beaches are rough and often two tracks, but if you are careful you can reach all of them in a regular car. I have never rented a four wheel drive and I have not missed a beach!
