You can take transit from National Airport (DCA) or BWI, Dulles (IAD) airport is somewhat less convenient but shuttles/taxis are available to the nearest metro station. We are one mile from 2 DC Metro stations (WMATA) and one-half block from a bus that will take you to both stations. The Takoma Station is in DC and cheaper if you're coming from that direction. Silver Spring is the first station in MD from DC and convenient to shops and restaurants. Union Station is very convenient by metro if you're traveling by Amtrak or many of the National or Northeast bus lines.
