The villa is located about 5 km from Siena. * From Milan take the A1 Autostrada towards Rome and exit at Florence "Firenze Impruneta" exit. * From Florence take the Siena-Firenze Superstrada towards Siena. Exit the Superstrada at Siena Ovest. (see below **) * From the Rome airport, take the ring road around Rome and then take the A1 autostrada north towards Milan and Florence. After approximately 90 minutes (one and a half hours), exit the A1 at Sinalunga and turn left (west) towards Siena. Follow signs for Siena and stay on the main road towards Firenze (ignore signs for Siena Est and Siena Sud). *** Exit at Siena Ovest. At the first roundabout, go left and pass an ERG gas station and an AGIP gas station. Just after the AGIP gas station turn left at the sign for Belcaro (brown sign) and Montabuccio (blue sign). Continue following the signs directing you towards Belcaro and Montalbuccio. Go up the hill for approximately 4 km (you will pass a Best Western on your left). Near the top of the hill, you will drive through Montalbuccio. Just past Montalbuccio, you will turn left and then immediately right, following the Belcaro signs. At the next Belcaro sign (which points to the left), you must turn right onto Strada di Fornicchiaia. After 100 m, the road becomes a gravel road. Take the gravel road for approximately 300 m until you come to number 18 (on the left). You can enter here or continue for 100 m and enter at the next gate on the left. Note: The closest parking lot in Siena to the Duomo and the Piazza del Campo is on Fontabranda and signed S. Catarina when you go in. A quick walk up the hill, and you can ride the escalators the rest of the way.
