There are two ferry ports within 1 hour of Port en Bessin. Cherbourg and Caen/Ouistreham. Caen/Ouistreham is closest to the property, with crossings of between 6 and 8 hours and then just a 45 minute drive from ferry door to 115. High-speed crossings from Portsmouth and Poole arrive once or twice a day into Cherbourg from May onwards with crossings around 3 hours. Cherbourg is a very easy 60 minute drive from 115. The ferry crossing is 6-8 hours, the fast-cat service around 3 hours. The overnight journey can be booked with a cabin.
