Getting around
The best service for organized visits to nearby attraction (national parks ''Krka'', ''Plitvice'', island Vis and Blue cave, etc...) is agency ''Trogir Travel'' in the center. Bus no.37 will get you to Split in 45 mins and for the price of cca.3-4 USD/€. There are also direct lines - buses coming from direction Šibenik, usually takes 30 mins. There are also intercity buses, every half an hour, that might take you to the other directions - if you want to visit Šibenik, for example. Their starting point is bus station Trogir, 10 mins walk from the house. Bicycles are also convenient mean of transport and is available for rent at the location.
