How to get there

We have four local airports within an hours drive. The closest is Beziers which is only 30km away. They all run budget airlines from Ryanair and Easyjet from a variety of locations. Toulouse airport is about a 2 hour drive - it has more international connections. All the airports have a direct rail link to Narbonne (via a shuttle bus) and offer car hire facilities.

You can take the train from St. Pancras (London) to Narbonne - journey time is about 10 hours with a change of trains in Paris. In the summer some Eurostar services go direct to Montpellier from where you can take the local train to Narbonne (about 60 minutes)

By car from Calais it takes about 12 hours (with a couple of stops) on the autoroute.

If you come by car there is only limited free parking in the close vicinity of the house. Paying parking is also available - this is free from 7pm to 9am and all day at weekends and holidays. We prefer to park in one of the two large free car parks next to the Canal de La Robine - these are no more than a 10 minute walk away. You do not need a car to get around the town. Full directions will be provided.
