Getting around
Climb spectacular mountains with walks or climbs of all grades - Stac Pollaidh, Suilven, Canisp and Quinag to name just a few. Visit prehistoric bone caves, a Pictish broch, ruins of 15th century Ardvreck Castle and many more historic sites. Take a boat trip to Handa Island for some bird watching, seabirds gather to breed here including puffins, or to the Summer Isles where Minke whale, porpoise, basking sharks and seals are not uncommon sightings, or from Kylesku to see the highest waterfall in Europe.
