How to get there

We recommend:

Use the M5 motorway to Junction 31, then take the A30 towards Bodmin and Okehampton.

Leave the A30 at Launceston and follow signs for A388/B3254 for Holsworthy/Bude.

From Launceston, take the B3254 for Bude. Follow this for about 12 miles, passing through Whitstone village. After a further 2 miles turn left, signposted to Widemouth Bay.

Titson is 1½ miles. After passing the old Chapel on your left, turn right on the bend (with care!) and then immediately right again in front of the telephone box.

BUDDS BARNS is at the end of the lane on the left.

Alternatively, using less motorway, you could:

Leave the M5 at junction 27 and take the A361 North Devon Link to Barnstaple. Then take the A39 towards Bideford and Bude.

Stay on the A39 for about 35 miles, through Kilkhampton and Stratton. Continue past the first turn to Bude for a further 3 miles taking the third left, signposted Week St Mary and Bridgerule.

Follow this road for 1¼ miles and at the T-junction, turn right. After ¼ mile, turn left (Titson ½ mile). At the white cottage, turn left, then immediately right in front of the telephone box.

BUDDS BARNS is at the end of the lane on the left.

If travelling by train from the east or north, Exeter is the easiest station to use, approximately 1 hour away, but access to a car is essential as we are not on a bus route.
