How to get there

From the North: Take the A494 from the A5 to Bala/Dolgellau for approcimately 25 miles until reaching a T Junction. Turn right onto the A470. At the first roundabout take the first left to Barmouth A496 for 10 miles. Continue through Barmouth along the A496 along the coast road with the sea to your left for approximately 6 miles going through Talybont and the village of Dyffryn Ardudwy towards llanbedr/Harlech. Approximately 1 mile outside of Dyffryn Ardudwy the road begins to climb and you will see ahead two unrestricted speed signs on either side of the road. Turn right up the single track unmarked lane immediately before passing these signs. Pant Einion Cottage is approximately .6 miles up the lane on the right hand side with parking at the front of the cottage also up the track by the side of the cottage taking the first immediate right into the gravelled parking bay.

From the Midlands: Take the M54 via the M6 and follow signs for Shrewsbury, Oswestry and Welshpool via the A5. From Welshpool follow the A458 towards Dolgellau. At the roundabout take the third right onto the A470 signed Dolgellau. This bypasses the town and at the next roundabout take the first left to Barmouth A496 for 10 miles.
