How to get there

Bristol is the biggest city in the south west of England, and has excellent transport links. Bristol lies at the junction bettween the M4 and M5 The M4 motorway goes from London to Bristol, and passes Heathrow airport. The M5 motorway comes from Birmingham. There are direct train and bus links from London to Bristol (bus approximately 3 hours, train approximately 1 hour 45 minutes). Easyjet and Ryanair both fly to Bristol International Airport from several locations in France, Germany, Spain, Italy and others, and also from Dublin. The easiest way to reach Bristol from the United States is to fly to Dublin, then it's only 45 minutes to Bristol. The nearest ferry port is Portsmouth (ferries from France and Spain), which is about 2 hours drive. Dover is about 4 hours drive. Bristol has all the major car hire companies (Hertz, Avis, Europcar, etc), from which cars can be collected or dropped off. If driving, the apartment is situated in north west Bristol, close to Clifton village.
