How to get there

From the North - From Glasgow, Prestwick etc, take the A77 towards Ayr. Continue through to Cairnryan and just afterwards take the first left onto the A75 and then follow the signs to Port William and then Monreith.

From the South - Either take the A1 and A66 route to the M6 or the M6 to Gretna Green. At Gretna Green take the A75 to Newton Stewart via Dumfries. At the Newton Stewart roundabout, turn off the A75 on to the A714 and follow the signs to Port William and Monreith.

Travel by Air - Both Glasgow and Prestwick airports are reasonably close.

Travel by Ferry - Stranraer and Cairnryan are both less than 30 minutes away and then it is a short crossing to Northern Ireland.
