How to get there
Hm. I would say you need a car. When you rent I will give you directions to my house. You need to have my directions with you as cell service is spotty in the mountains and you might not have GPS. Verizon works great as there is a Verizon tower. You might fly into Ontario Airport or Burbank. There are the mountain buses called MARTA so if you're a bus person it is possible.

Getting around
There is a mountain bus service called MARTA that can take you around the area and comes up the mountain at specific times of the day. But I'd advise a car.
