Gozo, being an island, can be reached airplane and ferry. Best budget airlines are Ryan air and Easyjet. The National Airline is Airmalta which is very stable and comfortable but other airlines operate to Malta - Lufthansa, British Airways, Alitalia and various others. Once at the airport, you may hire a car from all major international car hire companies like Avis, Europecar, Sixth and others or you may take the scheduled bus shuttle, scheduled bus service or take a taxi to Cirkewwa from where you will take the sceduled ferry service to Gozo - Gozo channel. When you reach Mgarr, Gozo you may take the bus service, taxi or drive your hired car to Xaghra. It takes around 10 minutes to get to Margerita.
