The cottage is surrounded by a profusion of wildlife, the rasping call of the elusive corncrake can be heard from the doorstep from April onwards. The Golden eagle, cornbunting, short eared owls, hen harriers, seals and otters as well as a wide variety of native species can be seen here in one of the worlds most pristine environments.
