How to get there
By car:Travelling from the mainland cross over the Britannia Bridge. Take the second exit and turn right onto the A5025 following the signs towards Benllech/Amlwch. Carry on for 9.9miles travelling through Pentreath and Benllech. Approx 2 miles from Benllech, you will reach Moelfre roundabout (large anchor in the centre). Turn right onto Ffordd Cocsyn Richard Evans (A5108). Continue on for 0.6miles until you can see the Coastal Cafe (formerly the Wheel and Anchor) on your left. Turn left at the side of the Coastal Cafe, directly in front of you is Gwel yr Afon, a row of 4 terraced white cottages.

Getting around
From Bangor Railway station (combined bus/ train) Take the No 62 (Amlwch) which runs every 30 mins. The journey to Moelfre takes just 35 mins and the bus stop is 50 metres from the cottage. Anglesey is a fairly small island and virtually everywhere on the island is within a forty minute drive of the cottage. If you'd like to explore North Wales further, Snowdonia is a similar distance away.
