Mandello del Lario is located on the eastern side of the Lake of Como and it’s served by 3 airports: Milano Malpensa, Milano Linate, Bergamo Orio al Serio (km 49), and by the railway station on the railway line Milano – Lecco – Sondrio – Tirano.
Milano Malpensa (km 116): at the arrival terminal exit, take the blue bus “Malpensa Shuttle” to the railway station of Milano Centrale (every 20’ from h. 07 to h. 21).
Milano Linate (km 66): at the arrival terminal exit, take the blue bus “Shuttle” to the railway station of Milano Centrale (every 30’ from h. 07 to h. 19).
From Milano Central Railway Station take the train with destination Sondrio or Tirano.
By car from Lugano (CH): take the exit south Lugano, follow Gandria – St. Moritz; in Gandria, across the border, continue until Menaggio and take the ferry to Varenna (twice every hour approx.); continue following the indication for Lecco till Mandello del Lario.
By car from Milan: on the bypass take the exit Viale Zara – Monza – Lecco travelling on SS36; after Lecco, without leaving the highway, continue to Sondrio, take the first exit after Lecco that indicates Abbadia Lariana – Mandello del Lario.
