How to get there
by train the AMTRAK Rhinecliff station is only 3 miles (as the crow flies) away however you'll need to cross the Hudson 5 miles north of us to get here by cab or Lyft or Uber. The nearest airport is Stewart out of Newburgh or Albany Airport. Kingston does have a tiny airport about 3 miles away from us if you have your own plane ;-)

Getting around
While you can be perfectly happy schmoozing the local shops and restaurants, hiking the Kingston Greenline and walking on the Empire State Trail or kayaking or sailing on the river close by it is also fun to visit the neighboring towns of Woodstock, Rosendale, Saugerties and the catskill mountains and lakes or cross the river to Rhinebeck or Bard College. For those type of outings a car is recommended although some guests have done the entire stay via Amtrak, Uber and Lyft ;-)
