How to get there
Getting to us.
There is 24-hour car hire at Chania airport or you can get a bus or taxi here. We are only a 20-minute drive away. We are situated just behind Mamas place on the beachfront here in Stavros, Akrotiri.
We recommend hiring a car so you can explore the area and rest of Crete in your own time but it is not necessary ─ there is a coach that comes five times a day to the bay and onward to Chania town where there are many connections.

Getting around
There is a bus service five times a day and going to Chania town and back. The bus stop is 1 minute from our apartments. From Chania you have access to bus routes going to many key places in Western and Eastern Crete. You can also rent a car from very near us, if you didn't wish to from the airport. You can find them listed under Horafakia Cars and they deliver to the apartments and pick up from the airport on exit. Nearby Souda bay has ferries which go to Athens and back regularly during the day.
