The island of Kea is very close to mainland Greece and easily accessible from Athens. It is one hour by boat from the port of Lavrion - which itself is a short drive from Athens airport.

The house itself is a twenty minute drive from the harbour at Kea.

Although there are many good walks in the vicinity a hire car is really necessary if you are going to make the best of the island’s rich and diverse character.
