By Car

St Margaret's Bay is on the east coast of Kent between Dover and Deal. From London, follow the M20 leading off the M25 direction Dover. From Dover take the A258 for Deal and look out for directional signs for St Margaret's at Cliff. Drive through the village, pass over the brow of Bay Hill and follow the winding road down to the Bay.

From the north take the M2/A2 direction Dover then follow signs for the A258 towards Deal. Follow signs for St Margaret's at Cliff. Drive through the village, pass over the brow of Bay Hill and follow the winding road down to the Bay.


By Train

Take the fast train (1 hour from St Pancras) to Dover, walk 5 minutes to Dover bus terminal and take the No 15 bus to Bay Hill, St Margaret's Bay. Walk downhill for about 500 metres (or take a taxi from Dover Priory for the 15 minute journey to Calais View).

By Ferry

From the Port of Dover turn left at the dock exit onto Jubilee Way, turn right at the 1st roundabout onto the A258. Turn right at the junction signposted St Margaret's at Cliff. Turn right into the village and continue on the main road until you descend down Bay Hill.
Taxi from the Port of Dover takes 10 -15 minutes and costs approximately, £10 - £15.
