HOW TO GET THERE:

BY TRAIN:

If travelling by train the high speed TGV is only 30 minutes away in Narbonne, with connections from London. There is an overnight car train from Calais to Narbonne taking a total of just 10 hours.

BY CAR:

Driving direct from the UK ranges from 10 to 12 hours depending on the choice of connecting ferry terminal. Each route is straight forward, with motorway links across France taking you straight to the Languedoc Roussillon region.

BY AIR:

There are six airports within a 2 hours drive. Most of the low-cost operators offer cheap flights to the Languedoc Roussillon region, with the nearest two airports being Perpignan located a 40 minutes drive away and Carcassonne a 45 minutes drive away. Other possibilities include Barcelona Gerona 2 hours away (in Spain), Toulouse and smaller airports such as Béziers and Montpellier.Car hire is available from all local regional airports.
