How to get there

Along the A55 and across the Britannia Bridge to the Isle of Anglesey. As you cross the bridge take the first slip-road (Junction 8a) and turn left towards Llanfairpwll. You will see the Marquis of Anglesey's Column on your right. About 200 yds past the Column, just as you enter the 30 mph area, turn left onto the A4080 towards Brynsiencyn and Newborough.

After passing through the village of Brynsiencyn continue on for approx. 2 miles. Ignore the left turn for the Sea Zoo and Foel Farm Park and also the first right turn for the villages of Dwyran and Llangaffo (B4419). At the second right turn for Dwyran you will see a local sign for the Isle of Anglesey Riding Centre (see opposite). Turn left at this staggered junction. Continue now for about 200m (approx. 20 seconds) and follow the No Through Road sign. After a further 250m (approx. 30 seconds) turn right (by the Caravan Club sign), another No Through Road, and follow the road for ½ a mile (approx. 50 seconds). You should have a fine view of the Snowdonia Mountains and the Lleyn Peninsula at this stage (weather permitting!). Turn left down the farm track to Penrhyn Mawr.
